I'm Ready to Quit the Phone!

Who's tired of trying to talk bluetooth to bluetooth?  "I'm sorry, I'm only getting like every other word."  "What?"  "Sorry I can't hear you."  AAAGGGGHHHHHH  I'm all for wearing the bluetooth, using the blue ant, doing whatever you have to do to have both hands on the wheel.  I absolutely am on board.

But, I might give up trying to talk to anyone on the phone if a headset is required.  Let's be honest - it's not pleasant.

Historically, I have used the car and commute time as the time to catch up with friends and family.  A little downtime before getting home.  Just enough time to feel like you know what's going on in each other's lives.

With 3 kids and a husband, I don't have time to hang out on the phone when I get home from work.  And, I don't want to!  I want to enjoy my family.

But, if I don't want to or can't call while driving, and work hours are for work, and family hours are for family - when exactly can I catch up with my friends?

Does anyone have an idea?  When and how do you catch up with your friends?

Feel the same... Want to keep in touch, just can't find the time once I get home. Feel like there are so many friends out there I have let "fall off my radar". Ugh. No good suggestions... just wanted to gripe!

P.S. To re-connect with one of my dearest friends our kids decided to go to the same high school. Lucky me!!
